You're a sucker & a loser if you don't take advantage of getting away with it. 77,302,580 Americans agree with this.
I'm afraid apathy is a much more likely explanation for failure to vote than a commitment to secession. People who won't even bother to write in a candidate supporting secession in order to grow their movement, aren't going to do the work to allow their state to exist as an independent nation.

After my replies to you I was thinking that a 12 step program could be considered a tool. But steps 2 & 3 give credit to something beyond the person and the tool.
I regularly counter-protest outside an abortion clinic because zealots hang around it and harrass patients. Sometimes I am offered pamphlets, so I've taken the precaution of printing up a few pamphlets of my own. Not mean or nasty--just factual. I know I won't change their minds, but it feels good.
