Last night one of my cats made a loud noise and startled the others. Grunt, our big orange boy, jumped and landed with a claw on my eye. I'm lucky he didn't blind me. But maybe I'll end up with a badass scar.

Today we had to put down our kitty, Specter. The vet found a large lump near his kidneys, and said that with the rate he was losing weight, there was nothing they could do. We stayed with him and held him the whole time, until he was gone. It hurt so damn bad. Goodbye Specter. You were loved.
