My dad, RIP, was an English PhD and a film scholar. My son got me a copy of his dissertation for Father's Day. I'm overwhelmed with emotions for both of them right now.

Finished Vol 2 of The Life & Death of Zebulon Finch. @danielkraus.com calls it his opus; an amazing saga. Killed at 17; it doesn't take, & a century of being part of history. Forrest Gump w/o Mama's moral compass, a flawed character impacted by the times he "lived" in. A masterful work of fiction.
