I manually deleted all my plays from BGG last night. Took several hours but was really cathartic. My records on there were super incomplete and it really did become an obligation I just wasn't keeping up with. I now feel lightened by doing that. My H score is zero and i'm ok with that.

So last night the NZ game industry had it's annual awards, the Pavs. And while the awards are almost all about video games they do have a board game award for locally published games. And we won it with Shadow moon syndicates, which was really nice. Big congrats to the team at arkus.

I am an advocate for solo board gaming, but not every game needs a solo mode. Seeing people complain that Fury of Drcaula 5th edition won't have a solo mode and all i can think is No shit it won't There are so many games and so many solo modes these days, just get over the odd game not having one.
Always a good idea to show a reviewer that you really have paid attention to their channel, what they do and who they are.
