Found something in last week’s Radio Times that might help with the reflecting pool, which isn’t. Anyone got the White House email?
Clockwork silver swan at Bowes Museum in County Durham. Made in 1773, so 3 years older than the US.
Which is beyond ironic considering that everything is made up of chemicals. I have always loved this example. Just don’t remind the chemophobes that they also contain a tiny bit of radioactive potassium-40 too. So scary (not). Potassium is readily excreted in urine to maintain homeostasis
Reminds me of the Reform UK membership form. I especially like the final instruction in bold
Just loved this comment, below the latest First Dog on the Moon cartoon in the Guardian. It made me laugh anyway. Many thanks to the author.
It’s a good job President Bone Spurs is such a great businessman or the world would be in real trouble. I wouldn’t be surprised if he and his evil cronies have managed to make money in spite of crashing the economy for everyone else.
Anyone else avoid so called AI at all times? A couple of examples from New Scientist’s feedback column demonstrating just how utterly useless it is.
If you could just. Asking politely and don’t forget to take the toddler with you. Thanks
It’s got to be time for this again. I have no intention of visiting the US until he’s gone (either method is fine by me). Happy New Year 🎉 PS Lock him up?
I’ll just leave this here again. If anyone is on Twitter please repost it there too🙂
My Latin dictionary translates potus as drunk. If they are taking updates can we have potus 47 translated as a despicable, old, fat, orange git, with no moral compass and less intelligence than a stunned slug? (Sorry, a bit rude to slugs). Other suggestions welcome
Sorry nice, decent US citizens, but we have no intention of visiting again until the orange buffoon and his incompetent, nasty cronies are gone. So 2029 at the very earliest.
He looked like he had hired a suit from Moss Bros last time he was in the UK and had an audience with the queen. I suppose getting a suit to fit a fat slob is not so easy. But that is NOT the way to wear “white tie”, with the waistcoat hanging down like an extra from a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta
Just thought it was time to post this again. A question do you think Trump can actually recognise an elephant?
AI, actually CAML (computer aided machine learning) is such crap, I shall continue to avoid it whenever I can. Follow searches with -AI to stop getting pointless summaries. Something from New Scientist’s Feedback column recently
Someone is very clever and so right. Cor blimey Mary Poppins indeed….pity she’s not around to blow him and his nasty cronies away forever
