2020, I got tiny Ned. He and I were alone during covid. When he was 3, I decided to adopt a 4m old kitten as a friend. Ned hated Winnie. A 3 yr campaign of abuse and violence and he finally got me to himself again. I’ve NEVER had such a determined cat. (btw , Winnie was re-homed and is much loved)

In a small win for re-wilding, there is a nest of indigenous jumping jack ants established in my front yard. Less of a win was discovering them.
