The dev has made a statement about it. It does look very Claude'y on the UI side of things, but then again, I have a frontend dev who's stuff has looked like that for years, so *shrug*. store.steampowered.com/news/app/456...
The game artwork has it, and there's some very sketchy looking paintings in the game.
There goes any hope I had of a private server popping up (without having to essentially pirate a game I have paid for, at least) Fuck you, EA >_>
On reflection, 2025 has been a decent year for me. Started to get regular work in the games industry as a dev. Did some teaching about games. Writing in a few magazines. First Steam store page quote + my words used prominently in DOOM TDAs marketing. Made the accolades poster for Death Stranding 2!
If you go on the profile of the dogshit peddler, you should be able to see mutual connections, assuming they haven't locked it down in their privacy settings.
This is great! The GCR games have always been phenomenal and 4 still holds up thanks to its modding community.
She lives again! PSU replacement didn't work, so went ahead and replaced all the CPU capacitors and it worked! HDD upgrade next.
Pretty much, usually simple geometric shapes to roughly fill out an area to test mechanics, level design and flow, etc.
Painkiller DOOM Eternal meets Vermintide 2. Not sure how I feel about that, perfectly playable mind. Something about the visuals rubbed me up the wrong way, too. It's got that awful trademark UE5 look to it that's both overly sharp & soft at once. store.steampowered.com/app/2300120/...
Earth vs Mars It's Advance Wars, but with a Mars Attacks, War of the Worlds kind of vibe to it. Thoroughly enjoyed the demo. store.steampowered.com/app/3269230/...
Calyx An interesting RTS with the primary antagonist being a lifeform that rapidly spreads across the planet, meaning that territory needs to be constantly controlled. UI needs some work, but it's looking promising. store.steampowered.com/app/3400850/...
Death In Abyss Star Fox meets Devil Daggers. Sold. store.steampowered.com/app/2076520/...
iRacing Arcade Not something I ever expected iRacing to put out. Demo is a bit insubstantial, only one race at one track, Tsukuba. Not un-fun though. I'll no doubt be getting it when it releases. store.steampowered.com/app/3226450/...
