This old girl turned 13 today! We have said what we thought were our final goodbyes to her three times in the last two years due to seizures, so feeling incredibly grateful that she's still with us today. Happy birthday, Lucy! #ShareGoodNewsToo

Hard to beat a hike with just my dogs, but I'll take an extra long hike with either or both of my adult children any day. Our conversations while walking in the woods together are some of my most treasured memories. Have been their entire lives. Now I love short hikes with my grandkids exploring! ❤️

That's great news! My news is small. I have a very cute visitor hanging out on my screen house. Weirdly calm. Let me touch its feet. Or am I the weirdo for wanting to touch its feet? Been hanging out about ten minutes while I drink my tea. A strange but good way to start my day. #sharegoodnewstoo

This was my second winter in a row being sidelined by foot surgeries, and today I reached my goal of being physically able to protest #NoKings on a local overpass. I went alone, had to walk a ways to get there, and only lasted 40 minutes, but it was very good medicine. #NoKings #Resist

Thanks for the recommendation. Hooked a few minutes into the 1st episode. A welcome distraction from the horror show. It's been 30 days since I last walked and I needed a break from climbing the walls. Sorry if this is too graphic. Feeling sorry for myself because I can't be in the streets marching.

I've never even eaten a turnip, but wanted to try growing something new for #Thanksgiving dinner this year. Not a bad harvest for a late summer planting, but no good ideas what to do with them. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Finished this in one go this morning, then took my dogs for a hike where they flushed a grouse only a couple of ft from me.
