Therra, a brown and blue dragon, is having her ear pulled and stretched by Delfi, a blue and yellow and grey avali. #review #earthbound #mother2 Completed sorting my dhoughts on Earfhbound! (text as image because limits; abridged alt because also limits)

Positives:
I will play it again, just for the joy of play! Basically the best thing I can say about a game.
Perfect blend of silly, sweet, and serious in the story. Thematically and tonally rich.
Every single piece of music is awesome and fits its purpose (except one that is supposed to be bad, which is not awesome but fits its purpose).
visuals are pleasant and suitable to their purpose just as strongly as the music.
Combat is highly tactical. Resource management is a tough, necessary precaution when journeying towards a boss.
Bosses are distinct and fun, threatening and tense, but never unfair.
Grinding is not necessary.
Regular enemies can be threatening, especially when encountering a new area. Leveling-up lets you feel your strength in real-time, as these enemies become easier.
Humor is great. background NPC dialogue is wild!
Main characters have good characterization. Pokey might be my favorite in a "villain you love to hate" way.
Environmental spaces have strong identity. Visuals are kept fresh. Isometric design never gets in the way to hide things unfairly.
The team feels mostly well-balanced, with clear roles and strong, awesome abilities to perform those roles.
Equipment is serviceable. Not much to customize; just always grab the strongest stuff. Kind'a whatever.

Negatives:
Poo feels less well-defined in role as others. Weak in most aspects except star storm, which he can't even use too many times. His special ability, Mirror, is awkward and unreliable.
There were two particular points i required outside help, that I don't feel were conveyed well in-game as to what to do.
The one music track I didn't like, that is supposed to be bad, is actually painful to the ears. Its possible to make something bad on purpose without having to be painful, I'd say.
Inventory management is a hassle, thanks due to not being able to swap between characters.

Overall: 10 out of 10. This does not mean perfect, just that positives are so good, that the negatives don't matter.
