I love this ridiculous animal.

My cat Clara, a classic tuxedo cat sleeping upright with all her limbs and face pressed flat against the back of the sofa. Its hard to describe, like she is a soft toy set in a pose that isn't supposed to be seen at this angle.

Very chuffed to have my (literally) little game object written up in Edge this month.

The cover of the July 2026 issue of Edge Magazine. The cover is orange and the cover story is a feature on AI.

A column inside the issue of Edge “The Outer Limits” by Alex Spencer, the pull quote reads “I've read accounts of what Pong meant to people at the time, but I've never been able to feel that while playing it.”

The opening of the column which reads:
“The year is 1982, apparently. The patterned wallpaper and fringed velour
settee suggest '70s to my eye, but then I suppose people don't immediately update their décor to reflect the decade. Anyway, this - like the ceramic ducks on the wall, the Radio Times on the carpet - is just peripheral detail to the real focal point of the room: the TV. Its gently curved screen is dark but for a few illuminated lines. Two dashes of light move up and down on either side, a dot travelling between them in diagonals. And - get this! - by twiddling the ridged dial in my hand, I can control one of those dashes.
This does require a little squinting, mind, since the TV screen is about the size of a matchbox. In fact, the entire scene takes up barely a quarter of the office desk it's placed on, even accounting for the Perspex cube that houses the whole diorama.
This is Next Door's Telly Has Games On' by Amy Godliman, one of the works on show at Strange Play, one of the attractions at April's London Games Festival.”

Harsh lighting casting a weird shadow and someone at Fox getting over eager on the powdering making his skin look rubbery. Even the best latex masks aren’t very good at replicating one persons face on another (not in a way that allows articulation at least). This is just a weird optical illusion.

I’d add a possible filter (or maybe just over aggressive make up) to the lighting but otherwise yes. It’s weird, but just in a dog holding a pinecone kind of way.

A dog with a horrifying nightmare mouth filled with impossible teeth…on reflection this is actually just a regular dog holding a pinecone.

Someone at Ewole Castle was a huge fan of The Nicholas Brothers I see.

The Nicholas Brothers were an entertainment and dance act active between the 1930s and 1950s. Best known for a highly acrobatic technique known as "flash dancing”. Their performance in the musical number "Jumping' Jive" featured in the 1943’s Stormy Weather has been praised as one of the greatest dance routines ever captured on film and features a sequence in which the bothers dance acrobatically down a set of steps.

The red and white safety sign kind of looks like that.
