JK, I was going to the library. Also I know I need a haircut, plz don't judge

Commemorating two hundred and fifty years to the day since....Capt. Nathaniel Smith inventoried the cannons at Fort Whetstone and Fells Point
Don't mind me, just taking every opportunity possible to emphasize my historiographical position 😅
Just popping back in briefly to say: if you enjoy super legit original research on the Revolutionary War, fun collaborative storytelling, decidedly political women's history, etc., you should get yourself a copy of this month's Baltimore Magazine
I made a couple changes to the Conquer raven portrait, and I'm definitely more satisfied with it now. Still available if any bird nerds/Go Birds nerds are interested 🖤💜
So @themerciful.bsky.social pointed out to me that this may technically be legal, if barely. C.f. www.congress.gov/crs-product/...
I am going slightly nuts trying to find the photo I'm thinking of, which someone posted on here!!! without searchable alt text (fml), but here's a different angle from the team instagram acct
In this post: the two cut-paper pieces already claimed. The Fledgling (#2), 4.5" x 5.25"; and Rise, 4.5" x 6.75".
OKAY thread of better pics (& more info) now! All of these are mounted on recycled/reclaimed matboard, and made with at least some recycled/reclaimed paper. In this post: the two cut-paper pieces still available. The Fledgling (#1), 4" x 5.75", $135; and Conquer, 4.5" x 6.75", $175
Thank you Mr E for getting these photos of my silly Ms/Os nail polish scheme rn
Sorry for the terrible photo... decent photos & more info coming soon. Four small cut-paper folk art raven portraits, all for sale @ price points between $125 and $175
Also this means that I can make more art now. It is World Goth Day and ur friendly neighborhood goth folk-artist is way too broke for that, sooooo genuinesnips.art/commissions/ (here is some goth-ish art for inspiration)
Also, this ⬆️ giant (for me) piece was briefly displayed in the same building as a very small piece I did recently 💕
Art for morale: here's a large piece that I did recently, with the assignment of "four iconic Baltimore rowhouses, each themed in a specific different way"
Mr E found and framed this recently (and I gotta find a place to hang it)—from that particular game
In completely not-unhinged behavior, I made Mr E a little mix CD loosely inspired by the Mariners' Emo Night (but make it Orioles)
holyshit this is the first house i lived in in Baltimore (I lived in the servants' quarters way up at the top of the building, up the back staircase)
I finally got my computer to work long enough to give me a thumbnail image of this file. yay
