The view is of a parking lot where an autocross event had been recently held. The lot surface is a mottled gray of gravel and asphalt. A rich, old wildwood well recovered from the ice storms of 2026, is being ground to mulch in preperation for a newer, larger water line (and only gawd knows what else).

The view is filled with hundreds of shades of green leaves from creeper, walnut, bois d'arc/Osage orange, privet, maple, honey suckle, and hackberry. Tree trunks randomly fill the space in grey and black vertical occlusions.

Center-left, sunlight floods the background as a bright yellow earth mover flexes its destructive blades carving a broad cut to the right and toward my yard (out of frame).

Yonder through a window in time. A view of interior reflections in the face of an antique grandfather clock in the rotunda beneath the grand staircase of Cheekwood Mansion, Nashville, TN USA.

The ornate wooden clock cabinet is stained a dark walnut brown, inlaid with brass ornaments (possibly gold leaf) of flowers and leaves that shine brightly above the face in the upper left corner.

Imagination under glass… where the story is in the light.

The frame is a landscape view of partially filled wine glasses set on a white tablecloth illuminated from overhead by an animated motion picture from a color LCD projector. The stemware, wine, tablecloth, lighting, and the shadows are tangible. The varied colors, patterns, and intensity are part of the show.

In the projected background, a blue-gray surface of an electronic circuit board with light gray linear traces fills most of the upper left quarter of the frame. A light blue arc of the edge of a bowl flows upward from the lower left corner of the frame to ⅔ up the right-hand edge of the frame. The legs bloom as short, dark petals atop a peony-shaped blossom. A starburst of white light erupts from the base of the glass stem to and an imaginary horizon beyond the base of the dark peony. The wine stem appears to have nailed the shadow to the tabletop.

A partial view of Eastern Wild Turkey feathers scattered across a space roughly 5 feet wide by 12 feet long oriented on a line from the lower right to the upper left of a landscape view.

The groundcover is a sparse mix of bermuda, wild grasses, and weeds all greened by recent rainfall. The feathers are mainly the bird's black and brown colored down. A handful of white and black tail and wing feathers are randomly mixed in along the right-hand line of the view.

It wasn't a pleasant end for the bird, but an unknown predator (possibly our local bobcat) is surely sleeping with a full stomach.

JUROR 96: I believe that in a criminal trial, I would feel morally obligated to convict. However, in a civil trial, I feel I can set those views aside.

JUROR 96: I believe it would be to the benefit of the human race were Mr. Musk to be sent to prison. Thank you for taking the time to contact me about government transparency. I always appreciate hearing from Tennesseans, and I take your thoughts seriously.

In August, Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee issued a subpoena to DOJ compelling the release documents and information related to Jeffery Epstein’s heinous crimes. In a welcome display of accountability, DOJ then released 33,295 pages of documents.

Furthermore, on November 18th, 2025, President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law. This bill requires the Attorney General to release all unclassified records on Epstein’s criminal actions. From the beginning, I have supported full transparency on the investigation into Epstein, not the Democrats’ brazen political gamesmanship. They held power in Washington for four years during the Biden Administration with the full ability to release the files, yet did nothing to provide transparency. Now Democrats are focused on this issue out of political convenience in order to distract the American public from their record-length government shutdown and their laundry list of failures this year.

President Trump is delivering on his campaign promise to restore Americans’ faith in our justice system by holding criminals accountable for their actions. I support President Trump’s firm commitment to transparency and the release of these files.

When house lights are down for a performance, a collection of small, one-off metal and came glass shaded chandeliers glow from the low ceiling.

This lamp is simple with perforated decorative sheet metal wrapping a glass cylinder, both wrapped in a heavier frame of metal rods. The rods bend toward the bottom center of the shade for an appearance of a rocket engine nozzle or simply stove grate beneath a white-hot flame.

The metal finish appears reddish brown in the darkness. Large circular chain links and a ceiling mount can be seen extending into the darkness above the lamp.
