The people sitting all around us were the woooooorst but The Strokes were amazing and I'm so glad I finally got to see a show at Red Rocks!!! We were there for the first night on Wednesday and it didn't even rain on us (forecast said it would) 😁
Took us a little over five hours 💀 two of those hours were all the rest breaks we had to take 😅
On Tuesday my brother and I hiked the Royal Arch trail in Boulder CO and boooooy was it tough but we did it! Almost 1400ft of elevation gain in under 3.5 miles 💀 but it was worth it!
Definitely went out of our way to eat at this tiki restaurant north of Denver and they sat us inside the ship!!
I've already harvested FOUR things They were delicious, especially the tomatoes and I've got a lot more waiting to turn. Wishing I decided to try growing lettuce this year 😅
Spent the weekend with my parents after Mom gave us all a scare last weekend with an ER visit and hospital stay. We lost power last night after a car hit a utility pole nearby so we spent the evening on the porch playing Farkle by firelight 😅
Just got a new water fountain for the cats that connects to an app and now I get blown up with these notifications 😅
Oh gosh, I hope you get the opportunity sometime! If you don't mind it REALLY loud, and lots of lights/laser effects they put on a hell of a show!
Stopped by the Science Center, of course enjoyed the Blue Angel outside. Saw a mural with a ship on it I immediately recognized as the HMS Surprise/Rose (from Master and Commander ofc). Also, this tall silver guy has a twin in Council Bluffs I've visited a few times 😅
Walked through the St Louis Zoo and saw some cutie patooties
We found some planes, a small little airport near where we were staying had a neat collection of aircraft, primarily from the 1920's and 30's!
Gonna share some pics from my trip, I didn't realize how close our seats were so I got pretty good pics of the Muse boys 😁 particularly happy about the view I had of Chris the whole time bc apparently I have a type and that type is just "bass player"
