Tiny adorable xteink 3 is here! I love it. First two books: the Standard Ebooks versions of Middlemarch and Lud-in-the-Mist. 15 years of e-ink touchscreens is making the adjustment to buttons a challenge, but it will be worth it.

An ereader that's just a little smaller than a playing card. The screensaver is Moomintroll running through a forest. The screen resolution is surprisingly good.

My cute BPL socks

My right foot from my POV. White sock with red, orange, and red-purple design. The toe is purple (so are the heel and cuff, but they're not in the pic. Aren't you glad you read the alt text?) Above it, "BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY." Above that, randomly-spaced line drawings of every BPL branch, one color each. You can't tell which branch is which unless you already know, and frankly I'd be guessing about all of them in spite of having visited many.

A neighbor's flowers

Daffodils, pink and purple hyacinths, shrubs with little leaves, and red-purple tulips. Behind them are the porch stairs and the porch railing, but the flowers mostly cover them up. I skipped describing the grass in the foreground because it's pretty boring tbh.
