So I traded my old 3080 and some other stuff to a friend for an AM5 platform. I’ve complained for years that the 3080 jet engined and throttled real bad, you can probably find me complaining about it here if you search back far enough. Friend knew about this to be clear Anyways she figured out why

Tried AC Shadows on my laptop and holy shit it's bleak I think I need to switch to DLSS balanced and the very low preset to keep a stable 60 FPS?? On an RTX 3060???? I had been under the impression this game was well-optimized with RT off, woof Makes me appreciate my desktop a lot more LMAO
