Following England’s unfortunate exit from the World Cup, four Arsenal players will return home after the 3rd/4th playoffs on Saturday. Should they use the recommended 3 week break, Noni, Bukayo, Declan & Eberrchi will join their teammates for pre season training, approximately Sunday 9th August.

Those First Team players who didn’t go to the World Cup are believed to to be flying out to the Marbella Training Centre in Spain today, for fitness training. They will reunite at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Monday to start Screening and then pre-season training.
The Arsenal U18’s will play a pre-season friendly at the Sobha Realty Training Centre against MK Dons on Tuesday 28th July 2006. This match is by invitation only. No other new friendlies known.
Following France’s unexpected exit from the World Cup, another Arsenal player is returning home. If he uses the recommended 3 week break, William Saliba will join his non World Cup teammates approx 22 days after they return for preseason training. Estimated Arsenal return: 07/08/26.
We will be wearing our new Red and White kit for the first time in public for Fridays pre season friendly against Boreham Wood. Gunnersarus will also be in attendance, hopefully donning his new kit! Tickets are still on sale from the Boreham Wood website.
The picture below, shows the split for pubs, restaurants etc, that both sets of fans can use for the area around the Principality Stadium, Cardiff on the Community Shield match day. The benefits of Arsenal having the South Stand include: Bigger end. Better access to Cardiff Central Station.
Arsenal fans had been allocated the South Stand for the Community Shield against Manchester City in Cardiff. Ticket information should be released at some stage next week.
Following Englands magnificent, but fortunate win against Norway, Martin Ødegaard has become the latest Arsenal player to return home. If he uses the recommended 3 week break, Martin will join his teammates approx 19 days after they return for preseason training. Estimated AFC return: 04/08/26.
Our Emirates Cup match against Borussia Dortmund has now sold out. The portal wil remain live for potential returns and Ticket Transfer which will be available approximately two weeks prior to the fixture. There’s still tickets available for our home friendly against Como 1907.
Following Belgium’s exit from the World Cup, Leandro Trossard becomes the latest Arsenal player to return home. If he uses the recommended 3 week break, Leandro will join his non World Cup teammates approx 18 days after they return for preseason training. Estimated Arsenal return: 02/08/26.
Arsenal held a private event at the Emirates Stadium yesterday for the 2026/27 scholarship intake. The interest lies with who has hasn’t signed their contracts and could be leaving us. Hopefully, the report from last night’s ceremony is immanent.
Arsenal have started to upload the Away Credits into your Membership App. The totals are not yet available, but you can manually add yours up in your ‘Ticket History’ via the ‘Ticket Hub’ The maximum starting total for 2026/27 is 59. I’m unsure if the Supporters Clubs credits are there yet.
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Illan Meslier from Leeds United on a free transfer. The contract is initially for two years with a one year extension option. Illan will wear number 30.
The application closing date for the Arsenal (Men’s) U21 Head Coach role, is on Sunday 12th July 2026. I’d imagine, unless there’s an exceptional external candidate, the role will be filled by someone ‘in house’. Expect Pascal De Maesschalck to be heavily involved in the recruitment process.
Our U17s will travel to China to take part in the elite Shanghai Future Star Cup. The Tournament will be held at SAIC Pudong Area from August 3rd to 9th. Arsenal are in Group A along with: China Athletic Bilbao Bayer 04 Leverkusen Group B: Shanghai Tottenham Hotspur Sporting CP River Plate
The 2026/27 Blue away kit will be launched on Thursday 23rd July. It is expected to be worn for our first match of the new season, away to Gerona on Saturday 1st August.
Arsenal as ever have messed things up. Brighton on September 19th is Away at 3pm, not at home as Arsenal have stated. Trains are plentiful.

The U21’s return to The Sobha Realty Training Centre for Screening sessions today, prior to returning for pre-season training on Monday.
The release date for the Women’s Super League fixtures will be published on Thursday 30th July at 10am. There will be 26 matches in total – four more than previous campaigns. The WSL will commence on the weekend of 4-6 September, 2026 and concludes on the weekend of 21-23 May, 2027.
