I didn’t take nearly as many shower photos than I thought I might. But a lovely time was had by all. And although the storms rumbled and the lights flickered, we thankfully never lost power.
Before I go to bed, here’s today’s weird sunset. It looked completely red to the naked eye. Are we seeing wildfire smoke corona?
I masked to get these shots. The amount of smoke is insane. It’s not at all like fog; I could see it “moving” in a very uncanny manner.
This was June 2023 with wildfire smoke obscuring Downtown from UPMC Children’s. It’s almost quaint how good the visibility was compared to RFN.

A guest post for today’s #caturday B & T’s cat Zeph was being super social when I was there yesterday for bridesmaids shenanigans. So here he is being very orange and very cat.
J & I walked down to Night Market, only to find Night Market was cancelled due to weather.
Nice day out with my kiddos. I had a little bit of foot pain on the drive there, but otherwise hiking and the drive back were pain-free
