Dunno whether using D for deuterium would have been allowed but sooner or later Cambridge has to change its name or discover more elements.
I do love my city. A lot of people turning up to Cambridge South station on its first day of opening, plenty of people being train nerds (old and young “look mum that’s a class 700” - bless) or just ambling around looking at the new thing and drinking the free coffee.
Cambridge South is having feedback problems with its PA, causing ear splitting howls. Pretty though.

Had my boobs squished in Tesco car park. Nurse was very nice and it pinched a bit but wasn’t too painful. Fingers crossed all is ok.

As a little bit of positive news… I’m of an age to be offered breast cancer screening, and have been waiting with fingers crossed that my NHS records have stayed in the right state for this to happen. Today I got a letter inviting me, showing that the system can still work.
Cambridge North is clearly getting used to being the local station for a bunch of LARPers.
