Looking for an outlet for thoughts and discussions which isn’t a cesspit 😊
Big shout out to the golf photographer at the Open in the Ernie bucket hat. Excellent attire.
I appreciate that it’s probably both a legal and PR requirement, but not only is the “Alcohol abuse harms your health” warning under the F1 start line Moët & Chandon advert comically small, but I also doubt that anyone abusing alcohol is regularly doing it by pounding magnums.
I don’t have a particular love for Vinicius Jr, but his LEGO set was reduced to £20, and I really liked the look of it. Bet a lot of kids have really enjoyed putting that one together. A fun build which really pops.
That is certainly one of the views it’s possible to take. If Netanyahu invited you round for some Carcassonne, how could you say no? That would be rude. The ultimate sin.
Evidence, as if it was needed, that Boris Johnson was never fit for office. Everyone else has managed to come out and tell people to give the police time and space to investigate, and he’s honking away on Twitter for them to get a move on.
Feels like this World Cup history book has taken a fairly controversial implied stance with that chapter title.
Missed it earlier, but big fan of the language switch to try and restore order at the Morocco press conference yesterday. English just wasn't getting the job done.
Hollow laugh at the idea that the BBC website is an enjoyable place for everyone. (Normally wouldn’t bother reporting a comment on a match report, but it was pure racism.)
Every time the camera cuts to the VIP area at the football, the UK commentators remind me of that tiny bit of Alan Partridge from The Day Today
'I am tired of Ally McCoist's references about my massive hand. The first such instance occurred...'
Not a fan of the petrol station’s random Live Laugh Love wall, but I do like the proximity of “Treat Yourself” and “Eggs”. Would love someone to be prompted into thinking ‘…aye, I’ve not had an egg in ages! Why not?! Go on then! Pump 4, and a half-dozen of free range!’
Incredible bottlers. And the distillery isn’t bad either! *gentle chuckling slowly descends into heaving sobs*
Haven’t been in any form of education for 20 years, and I still hate this stuff. The kids are just out the door.
Can’t believe I haven’t seen anyone else posting about the guy with the Cape Verde flag with the giant shark on it. That is one cool flag.
‘I eat my instant noodles at the seaside’ sounds like a sentence Duolingo would give you about five years in.
Leaflet from Royal Mail explaining that we’ll only be getting second-class mail every other weekday from now on, as if we’re not getting a single bulk delivery of mail once a week as it is. At least they can deliver first-class gaslighting.
Only had one eye on the football there, and got a bit of a jump scare. It's both arms. It's fine.
