I'm limited to 4 screenshots so I'm sharing the last few screenshots of this lil debate that led to dude saying Lil Kim was never as big as Nicki Minaj or considered one of the best rappers and got ratioed to Hell and back. (i caught the qrt at 78 and counting)

Context before this:
When James asked Marcus who his Queen of Rap was that exceeded Lil Kim in style, creativity, influence and blueprint, Marcus said Nicki Minaj.
When asked for a reason why she was his choice, Marcus says, "When they had their back and forth, Nicki smoked Kim's boots in the booth." which leads to these set of screenshots now:

James: Did she really? What Nicki's diss song to Lil Kim that had better bars than "Black Friday"? Nicki won a popularity contest, but I don't think she's ever outbarred Kim.

Marcus: Stupid Hoe or Roman's Revenge

James: "Stupid Hoe" is a good diss. Still not out-barring Kim on "Black Friday" imo. "Roman wasn't direct enough or had the venom Kim brought.
Also, I'm still not seeing the original style, influence on rappers following her, glass breaking, and trailblazing being greater than Kim.

Marcus: The Japanese influence wasn't original? And in terms of trail blazing, she has literally been the most successful female rapper. No one has been as hot as her for this long.

James: Commercial success is important. Nicki is the biggest female rapper. (Side note, Taylor Swift is technically the biggest female singer.)
Nicki just isn't the trailblazer in the game that Lil Kim was and still is today. Female rap is before Kim and after Kim. That rings true now.

Marcus: Agree to disagree. Kim was never as big a star as Nicki or considered one of the best rappers.

m'bubby, Adam (real name: Amais).🥰 Amais came from the short story I wrote over a decade ago, "A Weekend With You", along w/Renée. Bc I loved 'im so much, I ended up retconning him into being Ahma's adopted son and a Hunter like his younger siblings. He's also married to Renée and they have a son.
