Took the time to make a sandwich for lunch and this was the result: Cajun-style turkey, baby swiss, Grillo’s dill pickles, all-dressed chips, Duke’s mayo, all on whole wheat. Photo’s not great, but the sandwich rocks.
Took the hot new political survey; not too bad for a rural white guy in my late fifties:
Got the tomatoes in yesterday. This year’s crop: 2 Sungold 2 Marmalade 1 Chef’s Choice orange/yellow 1 Mountain Fresh 1 Brown Sugar Can’t hardly wait. 🤤🍅🍅🤤

I’m a watch guy, and I was lucky enough to get these from my family today for my birthday. I love them!
I am physically, mentally, and emotionally incapable of making a normal amount of soup. Tonight’s flavor, chicken and wild rice.

The charcuterie board for today: Crackers, prosciutto, fig & honey jam, olives, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, uncured salami, cranberry cheddar, dill havarti, edam, herbed fontina, and camembert. I’m pretty proud of it.
