La Danse du Sabbat (1870) by Émile-Antoine Bayard is a striking engraving that captures a frenzied witches' sabbath with dramatic chiaroscuro and dynamic composition. I went ahead and took it outside of the theoretical. Here's my manual white/black color balancing. The image on the left is if I correct for the brightest part of the dress is white. The right is if I correct the bands to be black. You simply can't make that blue white.

This goes hard.
