texas.gov requiring you to enter the state for your new address for a driver's license replacement is really funny. I dunno, take a wild guess what the state is.
A new SSD now costs the same as (if not more than) a new PS5 console. Just think about that for a sec. These AI corporations are robbing us of consumer hardware just so a bunch of preteens can ask gork to make funny images and undress people. This shit is getting ridiculous.
Also what the fuck does "storing via GPU" even mean, that makes no sense. I'm tired of grifters in tech, but I'm even more tired of people not bothering to check if the people who claim to know what they're talking about are real or full of shit.
Jumping spiders are one of the few kinds I try not to kill if I can help it. They're way too cute and intelligent imo. This lil guy had some trust issues at first but eventually agreed to jump on so I could take it outside.

Google sent me a bs DMCA claim on my site and it doesn't even make any sense. Apparently the NBA is alleging that this article I wrote is using "copyrighted NBA sports videos and images". WTF? www.aleksandrhovhannisyan.com/blog/static-...
I've been practicing alternate picking and gallops daily for the past month. Managed to hit 140 bpm today, which I could've never imagined doing a month ago. Just yesterday the max I could hit was 120.
Restrung my electric last night and oiled the fretboard. I was skeptical, but the oil really darkens the wood and gives it a nice shine. I've only ever changed strings on an acoustic before; this one was easier imo.
Head in the Ceiling Fan intro. I haven't learned the full song yet and my playing isn't perfect, but I just wanted to show some appreciation for it. It's such a simple riff but it perfectly captures that feeling of nostalgia for your childhood/simpler times. The bends are so satisfying.
Name that Deftones song! (Section from today's practice session. Still a bit choppy, but getting there.)
