minneapolis more merch, more drugs, less cops, more thugs, more scum, more FINE ART
hmm I wonder who the good guys are. the folks kidnapping and brutalizing others? or the people meeting with their neighbors at churches, union halls, parks, libraries, schools, community centers…?
that day was so weird because the city was CRAWLING with them. they were EVERYWHERE. what else were we gonna do? and the weather was weirdly nice. I came upon a group of them at the Victory Ice Arena probably about 15 minutes after she was murdered and flipped them off while calling monarca.
this intersection is a fucking nightmare on foot or by bike. I’m honestly surprised we don’t see motorists murdering pedestrians and cyclists here more often.
There’s some MPD training facility over North, and because these wimps are scared of North Minneapolis they have a police escort while they do training jogs in the neighborhood.
there’s a podcast network that runs an ad that uses the phrase “rage baiting” and when I hear it I feel like that series of Jamie Lee Curtis pictures.
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains.
I really like this piece. It’s so strange how business associations can throw fits about stupid shit and be taken seriously, but residents who were brutalized by the federal government are treated as childish for being skeptical of said feds.
explaining our election to the people of Hennepin County AND linking Minneapolis Times lol
my strangest celebrity crush is Ludacris, specifically Rollout music video Ludacris with the big head and little body, and I can’t believe I wasn’t at Target Field last night
when my son was a toddler he thought the disney castle before a disney movie looked like that pic and would always say, “welcome to minneapolis” when he saw it
today we’re saying goodbye to our sweet cat Sogn (named after the Sogn River Valley, a great place to ride gravel) he’s a cat person’s cat - aloof, reserved, handsome. I will miss him very, very much.
The book I’m reading right now (The Monsters We Make by Rachel Corbett) noted the actor in the theater production was so good some people thought he must be Jack the Ripper!
this is so good, funny, and interesting. really captures how weird it is to be a kid
HCSO and Freshwater covered the “Ice-Out” on their whiteboard that accompanies their annual post about ice out on Lake Minnetonka.
what’s striking about this piece to me is what fucking losers these agents are and how fucking badass and brave civilians are
fun fact: a kitkat bar or chocolate covered pretzel are not candy as Wisconsin defines it! it’s stupid as fuck to try to legislate stuff like this. what’s this difference between a muffin and cake? gatorade and Sprite? agave and corn syrup? who cares!!! it’s most efficient to mind your business
Dave Garman is a cop who was fired for using excessive force and was then re-hired and promoted to department training director.
I just googled “alt bev” and my alma mater is one of the first results. Maybe they made the phrase up and that’s why I never see it lol
