Republicans don't want to be "bipartisan" with the enemy, they are commanding and threatening you to obey! And you're *doing it* by inches, sometimes actively and sometimes through inaction. Democrats, Independents and others don't see you being reasonable, we correctly see you failing to fight.

Imagine from the perspective of the people of Iran. Oppressive regime. A deal with US. US bombs anyway. Kills leader. New leader is harsher and has very personal vendetta. Bombing causes oil to rain from the sky and the sewers explode in flame. The new regime makes the US surrender completely.
