This 80s reprint of Steranko Captain America comics, picked it up aged 16 when listening to pretty much nothing but 60s rock and this… was just waiting for me to find it.
Did you ever pick up Boo! small press comic from about 10/15 years ago? On surface a spooky comic for kids but had some genuinely heebie-jeebies material
Love that series of covers, my older brother had this omnibus edition and really spooked me (in a good way) as a kid. Dug in to Heslop’s career and got a bit deflated seeing he did golf paintings. Oh well
World’s on fire, may as well read a cosy retro version of world on fire
Another uncredited Alan Lee from roughly same vintage that I love, and can see similarities in execution. Would love to see an overarching career book of Lees work
I believe the actor Hugh Fraser, who played Hastings in Poirot was part of that band
