I'm home alone tonight and there is an enormous void where my noisy, floofy, beautiful little familiar should be. She died yesterday with the help of a vet after being ill for a while. We are heartbroken. My tiny bestest cat. 🐈

I've got into a lovely habit of reading my book outside after work once the sun has dipped behind the giant oak tree in the next field. Birds tweeting, occasional goats bleating, a helicopter buzzing by interrupting my peace. It's not bad out here 😎 (and it's only mid twenties!)

Re: airport drinking discourse. This sounds like my idea of absolute hell. TBH I don't really care/mind if folks wanna drink and give themselves hangovers on arrival, but it does feel a bit weird to me that it seems to be being treated as some god-given right to be massive bellends.
