“DNA under caffeine” - series After I finished the first one with just DNA and blue-to-fushia gradient, I spilled my coffee... I was not really happy, but decided to ink the contours to make it more contrasted and not just a failure. Here are my little tests. #watercolours #ink #coffee 🧬🐡

Five A6 format watercolours (crumpled thin cardboard in the background as they are drying after protecting them), each with different gradients of colours, mostly clearer colours down (from yellow to fuchsia) and blues at the tops (more or less dark). Among gradients, there are patterns of DNA helices (thanks to drawing gum). On top of watercolours and DNA helices, there are spills of coffee, contoured by black ink. Patterns of coffee are pretty random and sometimes hard to catch.

Small projects can also be very satisfying while working on pieces requirering a lot of focus (e.g., my biodiversity ink). Tiny watercolours, A6 format of only one colour, perylene green. I quite like them, and you? Pic 4: discrete signatures are my favorite #watercolour #plants #art 🐡

Three interaction scenarii are depicted: no effect (top), antagonistic (bottom right), and limited competition (bottom left). Human Gut Microbiota: the human scheme includes a visualization of the gut microbiota, comprising bacteria, viruses, and yeasts. Research focuses on their dynamics to prevent diseases and understand their changes in malnutrition contexts. Lung Infection: human lungs infected by the pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa, studied for its degradation of human RNAs and to respiratory illnesses.
