BTW, I live in Phoenix Arizona and even we received the northern lights in Arizona about four days ago!
I recommend visiting there, as well as Murano – the glass island— near Venice

It’s well worth it! Check out this homemade Telescope at one of the GC star parties that someone built using 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot. Also, astronomers can do residences there now, so if you’re interested, you should apply.
I worked on this #Figurativesculpture this week. I’m hoping to complete it today since it will take months to dry. In the meantime I am drying the bottom of the piece by placing it on stilts laid out horizontally. The theme is unity #ceramics #sculpture #art #artist #artstudio #galleryartist #clay

Here is another view of “Nurture”, one of my ceramic figurative sculptures. This was a show from one of our local art centers in Phoenix.
This is another paper pulp painting using cotton for the shape and abaca (banana leaves) for the pulp translucent colors w fiber dyes… this is a portrait of my dad 50” H X 43” W. The paper pulp was beaten in a Hollander beater—a series of these was made in grad school.
