Went to the 50th (and last) Massachusetts sheep and wool festival last weekend — 50 years is a good run for a festival but I admit to feeling wistful about it being over. I’ve been going to this festival for well over 15 years.

KnitSpinQuilt’s Etsy shop will be temporarily closed from April 20-May 1. I’m having surgery on April 22nd and will need some time to recover afterwards before I can get back to work. (This operation should mitigate some long COVID symptoms, and relieve migraines and brain fog.) #KSQShop

Cat fabrics might have my attention right now because of the two adorable goblins who have joined our household. The dilute orange tabby girl is Sunshine, aka Sunny. The white girl with an orange head and tail is Jiniret, aka Jinnie. They are dairy farm strays whom we got at about 4.5months old.

In addition to making bags, I also sample knit for independent yarn dyers and small fiber mills. This is the Bright Axis Tee (fingering weight version) in a lovely self-striping yarn by White Birch Fiber Arts! Knitting this was a delight! 🧶
