Art cave today. That's nearly 29 degrees and 63% humidity with the blinds down and the fan on at 10am. We've got to pull our day forward to survive this. I'm sad to miss out on @shazleenmkhan.bsky.social 's book launch at @goshcomics.bsky.social - go if you can. (Hoping to defy this and go anyway).
London: This is at my desk in what is pretty much the coolest part of the house (it is cool enough atm). It's before 10 in the morning, we have a relatively dark and temperature stable house. Be careful people. Even the young and healthy could die today. #stopclimatechange #prosecutedeniers

It's also cooking in London. Lots of heat radiating back from the stone, too, which makes it hotter.

Fairly large fox. It's quite hard to see but it's right there. There's certainly more ecological diversity here on the urban railway embankment than the countryside where I'm from.

Molly the Witch, epimediums, wiggywig, blueberry/ smokebush/ meadowsweet. Whatever politicians say, plants grow, the seasons change, some things stay the same, our common language.
It's a genuinely tiny south London garden with a lot on it- proper gardeners would disapprove. But it is loved and ...in stressful times, something like coming and tying up a tree helps
