Mid-life crisis: return to OSRPGs, painting and general escape from the mundane. Happiness through imagination and camaraderie. He/him. #grognard
Saw the yeti scalp in Khumjung Monastery and one of our Sherpas swore that his aunt had been chased by a Yeti when she was bathing in a stream.
Stapleless staplers. The way forward for anything up to 7-8 sheets.
Heresy, mutation, siege, religious zealots. All the ingredients for a grim and dark romp in @bentobitt.bsky.social Black Powder & Brimstone. My latest pamphlet adventure out now. The Girl They Would Burn. www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...
Forced to go out on Halloween so their parents could go to the pub, the dread on these poor mites’ faces is obvious. Authentic turnip lanterns show the connection to ancient Celtic tradition.
Oh damn. I missed ‘World Outlander Day’ yesterday. Should have worn my kilt!
Beautiful day to hike the Lairig Ghru in the Cairngorms - if junior hadn’t broken his collarbone ten days ago. Still. Nice to be in the Highlands in the sun.
Getting closer to the point where I can bring Ronin rpg to the table. Just need more mooks and villains. #JHbackdrops #badsquiddogames
Son knows the things that will make me happy - on a trip to Berlin he doesn’t send a pic of the Reichstag, or the Brandenburg Gate, but genuine Vita Cola, the East German Coke alternative. #ColdWar
Am going to Aviemore this week and one of the wonders there is a shop selling AI generated football pictures of Highland Cows in Celtic and Rangers tops. You’d have to be on acid to think you’d want to buy them.
Crna Kraljica. Last time I had this excellent dark beer was on holiday in Croatia last year. #beersthatcouldbeanosrscenario

Post your favourite film from the year you turned 18 1990. Miller’s Crossing.
I have those ladies painted up as the Destiny Angels, and have a whole chunk of lore I wrote for why there are Dark Angel derived female marines. Every so often I bring it out to annoy the Neanderthals.
Not the smallest I’ve painted but the smallest I’ve got pictures of.
Some of the samurai ones at the British Museum are great. I especially like the one inspired by an aubergine.
This armour surcoat from the British Museum’s incredible Samurai exhibition looks a little brave IMHO.
Post the cover of a book you love from the 90s. (Any century!) #BookSky #bookchallenge #readingchallenge #readingcommunity #booktok #bookish #books
