Having our morning coffee on the deck, and this doe came by to join us. I had a doe join me yesterday morning when I was filling our birdbath with water. She then proceeded to drink out of it while I was there. She's been hanging out in our yard. They are remarkably tame. I love the mountains

This happened to us in Botwanna. A mama hippo charged our safari vehicle. Fortunately the guide was quicker, but for a moment I wasn't so sure. Here's a video just before she charged. I didn't get the video of her charging as I was pooping in my pants at the time.

These are ours. Maverick on the right, puppy Sierra in the left. Maverick is 4 years old. We got Sierra this spring for Maverick to have a playmate. They are inseparable now.
This is an ostrich doing a mating dance. There was (obviously) a female close by out of the picture that he was VERY interested in. From our recent trip to South Africa, right at the tip of the cape.
