Pretty honored to make shorts for Camp Lilac. If you donated to the cause, thank you! givebutter.com/camplilac202...
Carving royalty—check. Now to print, digitize, turn into actual cards, with numbers and whatnot, then design the backs. Marxist deck of cards closer.
These Slipmats haven’t sold well and I want the space back. I’ve dropped the price from $15 to $7. Options below. Designs not pictured I could also make: -Fuck ICE -Fuck AI Slop -I finished Clarissa -(most of) Jclo RIOT
Kid set up a little play area and wanted me to see it and said “I want to show you the aesthetic,” so naturally I gave her this. I think she’s ready.
Got lazy on T. Adorno, and hand was shaking after yard work on CLR James. Early concepts—don’t care!
Pt 2. Of Marxist playing card concepts. One of the previous Jameson faces and one of the Sylvia Winter faces here is off, but not really important for this stage.
RIP to this sticker. I only have five left and am saving them for sticker bundles. You had a good run.
W. Benjamin is actually quite funny. “Teaching Aid: Principles of the Weighty Tome, or How to Write Fat Books,” from One-Way Street.
Last week I posted about feeling down about the union. We just secured the first pay scale in my school’s history, and another first is I received these flowers from a colleague as a thanks for being on the BC. Chin uppers.
@phil-kapitan.bsky.social with the classroom nat 20. Enjoy the monster print.
This was a weird one. I found a 1 3/4”x 40” piece of cork board and decided to carve it. It fought me, crumbled, and I have no idea how many prints I’ll get out of it before it falls apart. However, I enjoyed it. You don’t see many prints this size/shape.
My mom loves to bring up this card I made her when I was a wee child. “I love you with all my hart.” My mom is a white woman.
Reminder that I’m giving one of these away. You’d better have a lot of free wall space.
Many hours in the last two days. Close, but still so many small lines.
