Don’t know why but was suddenly overcome with a powerful yearning to be back in Oxford. Haven’t lived there in about thirteen years. I just know it’d make me feel better about now. It’s funny, the places you miss. I spent so little time there compared to other places I’ve lived. Precious, though.
Myself and a bunch of other talented pro DMs will be running tables at this. It’s going to be a spectacle, get your tickets fast!
Been rewatching #Buffy in the wake of Anthony Head’s passing. Thought it would be interesting to do a tier list of my experiences with each season.
Had a great time at the Fae Picnic yesterday! My friends decided I was serving a distracting amount of sexy male model, which was very flattering.
Achievement Unlocked: 404 Pace Now Found 🏃 Completed my first half marathon in 2:57! Learned lots along the way and think I can improve on it next time. Aiming for 2:30! Happy to see my partners’ faces at the finish line! 💚 🖤
Sad to miss out on #HellmouthCon this year, but it’s for a good reason: attending both a dear friend’s wedding & running my first half marathon! Will try and squeeze in my first watch of Repo to honour Anthony Head, and wear one of my favourite t-shirts to represent. Have a great weekend, Scoobies!

I was delighted to learn as an adult that the actor himself had taken this position as “fandom dad” to heart and that he was as supportive & kind to the weird library kids in real life as I had hoped Giles would have been if ever my friends and I had gone to Sunnydale High. Rest in Peace, Giles. /4

First ever half marathon! Nervous and excited to do a Big Run in 10 weeks!
Yesterday was heavy. The celebration of life for my roommate Randle, who passed away last month. It was a lovely ceremony though. And there was a table where his voluminous collection of fantasy fiction was available for mourners to take. It did raise a smirk to see what was left at the end.
In April 2020 I pulled together a group of femme D&D playing friends so that my girlfriend could try D&D again after bad experiences with mostly-male groups. Last night we bid our final farewell to The Pie Fighters after nearly six years of weekly online games. L1-16. Best group I ever DMed for. 💙
My partner Amber made me an incredible Mario-themed terrarium! I think it might be her best work yet, but the miniature Alex habitat she made is hard to beat.
