I really want to try and attract swallowtails. A few summers ago a brood of caterpillars took over my parents parsley.
Had no idea when I picked this snapdragon at the end of May that they would still be blooming in late July.
Hoppy maybe grasshopper type insect getting taken down by a hornet or other stinging guy. Obviously I'm not an entomologist

I was going to throw this aloe away because it was a brown nub. I saw the tiniest of green and remembered someone told me aloe was pretty much indestructible so I started to water it.
Hopefully this turns into something resembling jam. Black raspberries and a few blueberries

Update from the hotel monarch. Chrysalis about 1 day old. I'm going to relocate the leaf to the top of the tent because I'm not sure if will hold if the leaf dries out and curls. Second montmarch steadily growing 🐛
