It's actually fantastic that women are increasingly refusing to submit to male supremacy and the everyday tyranny and terror it is built on. There are very few things that give me hope but the fact women are pushing back hard against men's domination and mediocrity is the main one.

Y'en a marre que les femmes hétéro (et bi) soient arrivées - empiriquement, de manière parfaitement réaliste - à un stade extrême de pessimisme concernant les relations avec nous. Que le meilleur qu'elles espèrent c'est qu'on ne leur fasse pas de mal et qu'on ait à peine 50% des capacités émotionnelles et pratiques qu'elles et leurs amies ont depuis très longtemps.

Y'en a marre qu'on cherche sans cesse à sauver et renouveler la masculinité (cispatriarcale) plutôt que de réaliser que son fondement même est la domination sur et la différence/supériorité présupposée par rapport aux "non-hommes". Et que par conséquent, c'est seulement en abandonnant l'idée d'une différence fondamentale entre nous et les "non-hommes" - et donc la masculinité en tant que telle - qu'on pourrait, peut être, (re)devenir des humains dignes de ce nom.

Y'en a marre d'un système qui dévalorise systématiquement les points de vue, les vécus, les idées, les envies, les subjectivités, les ressentis et les sentiments de la majorité de la société qui n'a pas la chance d'être un homme adulte cis.

Y'en a marre que cette majorité dominée (sur)vive dans un régime de terreur constant, où iels ont peur chaque jour de faire face à notre violence et notre domination.

Y'en a marre qu'entre mecs on ne parle jamais du fait que c'est nous qui commettons l'énorme majorité des violences interpersonnelles (non seulement contre les femmes et enfants, mais entre hommes aussi); sans même parler de faire quelque chose contre (qui n'en remette pas une couche, je veux dire). Qu'on tolère activement ou passivement des choses atroces faites par les autres mecs. Qu'on préfère être loyal à un pote, à un frère, à un père, à un collègue, que de soutenir (ou même juste écouter et respecter) celleux qui ont subi leur(s) violence(s). Qu'on soit si incapables (que dis-je, qu'on refuse par complicité et/ou lâcheté!) de faire attention à ce qui se passe devant nos yeux et de ne pas laisser faire sans réagir. Que la parole d'un homme, même inconnu, nous convainc toujours plus que celle d'une femme ou d'un(e) enfant.
