Kids are watching Duck Tales and it's the episode where the kids throw Scrooge a birthday party and he goes on a rant about how he hates birthday party magicians, and I find it very funny hearing David Tennant say that, for obvious reasons

Oops I accidentally bought a set of red Adirondack chairs what a crazy coincidence (I had planned to get them anyway but now I'm saying this is why. Also theirs are nicer. Mine are the cheap plastic version but I don't have "Astrophysics professor author of a book nobody bought" money for chairs 🤣)
I'm sitting here next to my snowglobe at a table that really needs to be cleaned off There's a roll of "Happy Birthday" gift wrap right behind the globe, and I just noticed that from where I'm sitting the word "happy" is magnified through the glass Coincidence, sure. But I'm taking it as a sign.
Just took my watch party scones out of the oven and they are gorgeous. I think that's a good sign. A good omen, if you will. It's hard to get a good picture but trust me. If that show is half as good as these things, we're gonna be fine

Obviously *the drama* around Good Omens 3 has been awful & yes it sucks that so much got cut. But you know, what we do have is a story that is so loved that people were willing to fight for it. For Terry, for A+C, for us, for whoever You can tell. It feels loved. And that's pretty extraordinary.
Ok as someone around the same age with similar tech experience (started college in 2001), this is so so funny. I have been laughing about it since yesterday

Greived and dealt with the trauma of losing that cat so suddenly. It was really a huge shock and I just couldn't handle it at the time. (Early covid as I said, plus I'd recently had a miscarriage and was just generally in a bad place.) Anyway thanks for letting me unpack that, pic for cat tax
