I was browsing my high school yearbooks a few days ago and decided to track the progression of queer representation over the years. I love that trans people were included as early as 1999-2000 but I do wonder what sort of politicking may have been involved in our exclusion the two following years

Why did you transition? Right answers only. I knew from 24 that I wanted the effects of estrogen and by 35 after the birth of my second child I had no more excuses not to so I had to take the leap of faith rather than spend the rest of my life wondering "What if?" I'm glad I took that leap.

Chilling with Ray on Easter morning. He had fun batting around some eggs that he found - of course, those were for the kids so I had to take them away from him

This TDoV I reflect on how truly incredible transition is. Over six years ago, I never could have imagined just how much colour and love it would bring to my life. It has been such a wonderful experience, marred only by the words and actions of some cis people - a few of them well-meaning, most not
