Sometimes all you want is a big greasy plate of roasted eggplant with olive oil and salt. Cheap and vegan. So good.
This trad wife has gone off the deep end spreading conspiracy theories about our election instead of filing a complaint with the state. "Plenty of neo nazis are hardcore vegans".
My cobra tattoo by Savannah Leigh at Tattoo Thank You in Denver CO won Best In Show at The Void Tattoo Festival over the weekend! Proceeds for the contest went to Q Center ❤️
This entire bush is a lady bug habitat. Look at the baby lady bugs even!
I grew, prepared and roasted grape hyacinth bulbs tonight. These taste terrible. Like soap. Would not recommend 😕 haha weird food that vegetarians try to eat I guess. Perhaps these could actually be made into soap. Worst foraging food ever.
Air plants are so fun and easy to grow. Mine is currently in a double bloom. It has bloomed multiple times now. I've had it at least 10 years. Some say that their air plants die after blooming but mine never have and mine is quite old. I don't soak it often. It just gets leftover drinking water.
My first attempt at photographing birds through a telescope today during the Comumbia Slough Festival at Mason Flats. An absolutely beautiful cormorant. The Slough hosts a diversity of wildlife and must be preserved. Stay tuned fot the next city council meeting to protect!
This is a red shouldered hawk that I photographed with my cell phone through a telescope. My first time trying to photograph in this manner. I am at the kick off of the Columbia River Slough Festival. These birds are from Cali but they live the Slough and have been coming up here. Portland Oregon.
@justinskolnick.bsky.social why are you attacking people online who are protesting ICE and on chemotherapy? I do not believe we have ever met.
Pollinating my lemon tree for the first time. It was not looking too great and on discount when I bought it. I hope it recovers and that I am doing the tight thing here. Tips are appreciated. It has produced two lemons already. The first one was cut early to help the tree recover and grow.
Making scarves for homeless people at the library. I do not know how to crochet or knit so my scarf is really small right now haha! Luckily someone was nice enough to teach me how to crochet ❤️
