Bella’s favourite thing is when I do work while slumped on the sofa (don’t let the DSE team see this!).
Went to an outreach event for an exciting new museum development project on Ipswich Waterfront this morning. They don’t appear to have social media at moment so I’ve added the deets below.
Garden officing this afternoon. Here’s the set up. Unseen, new garden parasol!
@museumbums.bsky.social Some museum bums from Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich for you. Do horse bums also count?!
Co-working day in Norwich today. Pleased with this photo I took on my walk from the station.
Ada Nield Chew has a blue plaque at last! Proud great, great niece here! Next step, a statue commemorating her in Crewe. See statueforada.com for more info (full disclosure, I’m a trustee).
Received an excellent delivery this morning from Hanshan Tang Books!
Did a Cyanotype workshop this morning. Some of the results … A very nice way to spend a sunny morning!
Quick stop at the Young V&A for a matcha latte (it’s not very nice, hence why I’m not copying them in!).
Thanks to Marketplace, I have made a new acquisition for the Barnes Collection of Visual Culture from Mao-era China. It’s very dusty, very large and I have no idea where I’m going to put it. But that’s not the point, is it?! 🤣
