Here is another way to see these contributions. Here horizontal is time, and each circle is a campaign donation from donors w/ demographics (usually ≥$250). Look at the fundraising pattern. You can hardly see Dreher’s campaign donors in WA state. It’s a wall of out of state and AI-employer donors.
If one of the major appellants is the NIMBY historical preservation group “Friends of Ravenna-Cowen”… and the lead judge authoring the opinion wants to proudly tell you that “Judge Mann lives in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood in a 120-year old craftsman home”… Is this a conflict of interest?
