Love the “Little Free Libraries”. Some of the stewards of them are so creative & generous. This little beauty is on the Capitol Crescent Trail that goes from Georgetown (DC) to Bethesda, MD #ClassicMono #BlackandWhite #ShowHeart #EastCoastKin #ECK #Photography #Nature

Portrait image of a Little Free Library in black and white. The Little Free Library is about 14 inches wide and about 24 inches tall in the shape of a bird house or simple house/cabin. Made of wood it has a pitched roof with a glass hinged door. There’s a black metal handle to open the door & a simple wooden lock that comes across the frame & door to keep door closed & also used to open the door.

Above the door and between the sides of the roof is a wooden “Love” sign with the “o” in the word love made in the shape of a heart.

Inside are about 20 or more books of a variety of genres & sizes.

The library sits on a wooden pole & on the lower front of the pile is a wreath made of different artificial greens. The background of the image is the blurred wooded area where the library sits on a hiking and bike trail.
