D2 softball semifinal is underway between Armada and Farmington Hills Mercy. Armada just took a 2-0 lead T1 on a blast to left center by Taylor Capozzo.
D1 FINAL: Walled Lake Northern 2, Grand Haven 1. Pitcher Lyla Turmell struck out the side in the bottom of the 7th as WLN wins a first-ever state title.
D1 softball final between Grand Haven and Walled Lake Northern set to start in a few minutes here. Walled Lake Northern is the home team. Grand Haven won convincingly in the semis, 8-3 over Macomb Dakota, and Walled Lake Northern won a 2-1 pitching duel against Northville. Let’s dig in!
