Replanted into a bigger pot. 💚 This isn’t just the only one to survive my temperature-swinging, no-airflow office, it’s also thriving. I may soon not be able to close my shades against the blasting afternoon sun.
I was so pleased that I attempted a full scale, pencils only, fully rendered piece. This was back in the era of scanners-to-computer only, but I have two wips. And then I lost my olive-green colored pencil. And I lost free time, heading into college. I never finished it.
#OcarinaofTime lit my budding 'lil artist flame in 6th grade. I drew everything in the catalog, repetitively, into junior high. And in high school, when I was losing free time to studies, but wanted to try drawing without ink, this became the final colored pencil drawing I completed, ever. 🥲
I’m lucky if I can read for literally 7 minutes undisturbed. But, come on. Seeing “magic” through his eyes? All right. I’ll accept reading at a snail’s pace.
