Twenty one years ago today, Canada lost one of its great minds in geography and geostatistics, my first mentor and academic advisor, Ferko Csillag. His legacy lives on partly through his students who have gone onto careers in academia, government and industry. I think he would be proud.

1. Larger Extents The most obvious change will be that we are expanding! Here’s a look at last year’s BC map with a red line showing what we’ve added for 2025. All provinces from Quebec westward expanded to some degree.
