A solid 8.9/10! Minor gripes with writing, casting, and the vast nature of the source material being condensed. But a movie to add to the rotation of favorites!
This take is… interesting. 1. Cabaret was excellent and my cast (Orville and Eva) was SPECTACULAR! 2. Adaptations can be incredible! Lost Boys??? HELLO!? 3. Cats: The Jellicle Ball is a powerhouse for the reinvention of how the show is digested. It tightens it all up. Pretentious ass people!
