Married, old gay guy in Brisbane. Copywriter by day but I swear you’d never know it from my posts. May post shirtless selfies in the future so I’d appreciate it if family and workmates could stay the hell away.
Literally picked up this edition of "A For Andromeda" on the weekend at a book sale. Intrigued by the note at the beginning that it's an adaptation of a 1961 TV series.
I mean, seriously, what the butt-faced bottom riding a hairy horned dick is going on here?
Ahem. (Full disclosure, I hate this movie, but the 3D is the best I've ever seen.)
First watch for 2026: Lesbian Space Princess Ahem. Lesbian Space Princess is fucking hilarious.
First watch for 2026: The Secret Agent An unpredictable political thriller shot through with B-movies and folklore. For me, it dragged a little, but think it'll grow on me. Wagner Moura's talent really hits you when he convincingly plays his own son.
First watch for 2026: Dust Bunny Tribute to those trippy Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet fantasies of the 90s. Lots of visual panache and a great cast, but comes to a thudding halt whenever anyone opens their mouth. Would have been better as a silent.
The 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea discs were formative in this opinion. I also had a thing for Ned Land. Obviously I was a budding young pognophile and octopus wrestler.
GUYS! GUYS! They FIGHT an OCTOPUS! Peak entertainment for me as a boy was an octopus fight.
Turbo copter! Flying rescue! Sea sled! Escape Car! Drag bike!
