Pretty ballsy to have been wrong in Acts I, II, & III and still expect people to take you seriously in the dénouement.
“sustained” is the operative word. In some cases, incremental change built over decades can be undone in months (viz. VRA). In other cases, we have a hard deadline but we failed to start when we needed to and now radical change is necessary (viz. climate change)
