Andy "Absolute" Mason
@andysdrawings
Sometimes I draw things. Mostly I just think about drawing things. "Essentially normal", "Unexpectedly rugged." ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL
We got this far in the thread and nobody mentioned the Scarlet Skier?
FWIW, yesterday's comic was .... ... not particularly enlightening as to their identities I guess we must presume Amos and Edda, since the male figure is not towering over the other one
There was a TNG adaptation, but for some reason they cast everyone as cute animals.
Technically correct (the best kind) but the CBR article notes that he made *himself* bleed in 1940 (and a few other times since)
from context clues, we must presume Chad Ridgely? Though apparently that's also this guy and I'm not sure I see the resemblance
I get this thing where it "verifies access" and invites you to subscribe, but then it just asks you to create a free account. Idk what the article limit is on a free account, though
@damnyouwillis.bsky.social Oh sure, I get it. Joe, Joe Rogan, Seth Rogen, Seth.
I hope there are regular references to Dexy's Midnight Runners
My 2018 capsule review of Clean Room by @gailsimone.bsky.social, Jon Davis-Hunt, et al.
I'm pleased that a gay Captain America exists, I'm just not wild about him being a twink wearing dungarees and an ascot. It's mostly the ascot.
Oh, no, it still works really well. Instead of a multiverse thing with living cartoons, these are DCU variants of the Looney Tunes characters, rendered in a realistic style. This one has a Noir variant printed in monochrome.
Thanks to feed* synchronicity, there was a moment - just a moment - where I thought you'd had a custom Action Man made wearing these shoes. * feet
What? Just a completely normal Batman quote. (Generally the article text is factual, accurate, and reasonably dry bar a few sardonic observations or writing style jokes, but the image captions are where they let rip)
Well then. Let us hope Highguard meets with a little accident
I'm sure Monstress is a good comic, but every time I hear about it I'm disappointed that it's not about this queen
JSYK, the picture above is a variant cover of this year's Marvel/DC comic featuring a story by Gail about Power Girl and Punisher
This is the picture of the Faerie Dragon from the monster manual we had. Look at its wings. Look at its little fucking face. I named him Dingle, because this was naturally hilarious and I was a tool.
I mean, if anyone, that last twist of tail turns it to the left, towards Edda.
Why would he call it "Bug" when "Spider-Glider" was right there
